Pacific Northwest Oppos, I’m heading to Kent, WA on Wednesday for business and I need some food and craft beer recommendations. Ideally breweries that serve good food. Got anything for me?
In other news my Camaro is all mine now! I m ade my final payment last week and it feels great.

I grew up in Kent. Go to the station, check out Johnny Rocket for burgers and 40s vibe. For craft beers, check the RAM, across the way. There are other places in old downtown that has a kickass bartender that’s a master of mixes. Shenanigans, if I’m not mistaken on the name.
Also, the RAM is really the only brewery restaurant in town that’s decent from what I can see. I don’t drink beers though.
As for the Ro cket, order a milk shake there. They’re pretty good.

Caveman Kitchen is an icon in the area. It may not be “the best barbecue” ever but it is darn good.

Former Maple Valley kid waves hi!
But how can you recommend Johnny Rockets? It’s just a chain.

Because I used to be a regular there, and they're better than McDonald's and the other fast food joints. The atmosphere is great for slowing down after a fast week.

Not to mention, they burned to the ground once and was rebuilt.

If you’re looking for craft brew, Airways Brewing is your best bet. The Ram?!? Not so much. Airways is locally owned. They’ve got the tap room and brewery which is on 212th and then the Bistro on Meeker. Nice outdoor seating. Very relaxed. Good food, great beer, good service. Not cheap but totally worth it. Still Lol’ing about the Ram.

Perhaps you are thinking of Shindigs, which I believe is now closed. :(

+1 for Airways Brewing. Small menu, but all of their food is good.

As is true of all good barbecue spots. :)
Some here in Georgia have burned down a couple of times.
